QA/QC Sr. Manager

Role overview
QA/QC Manager ensures all HVAC, Clean room and MEP systems meet project standards by implementing quality plans, conducting inspections (material/installation), managing documentation (NCRs, ITPs), coordinating with teams, and overseeing testing/commissioning for compliance with codes and client specs, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the QA/QC function across all project sites and ensure alignment with organizational quality goals. Lead the QA/QC function across all HVAC, Cleanroom, and MEP project sites, ensuring adherence to organizational quality standards
- Develop, implement, and manage Project Quality Plans (PQPs) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for all MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, ELV/BMS).
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections (receipt, installation), and physical verification, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, method statements, and codes.
- Manage QA/QC documents, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), audit reports, material submittals, and technical reports.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, architects, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and integrated system performance to ensure reliability and safety.
- Guide and train QC inspectors/engineers, manage their performance, and ensure adherence to quality processes. Ensure all works meet local codes, international standards and client specifications.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Education: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Full time)
Experience: 10+ years of overall experience, with significant time in MEP QA/QC roles. 6+ years in specialized projects like Pharma/ Cleanroom/ Li-Ion Battery / Solar/ Semiconductor / Data centres shall be preferred
Knowledge: Well conversant with MEP systems (HVAC, Clean Room, Indoor Climate Control, HT/LT, DG, UPS, Fire, BMS) and relevant codes/standards. NDT Level-2 certificate. Strong auditing, problem-solving, and communication skills.
