Sr. Engineer – Electrical / Asst. Manager – Electrical

Role overview
Candidate should possess deep expertise in Electrical systems, focusing on accurate cost forecasting for projects by analysing drawings, codes, and specifications, using tools like AutoCAD/Revit, coordinating across disciplines (HVAC, Clean Rooms, Data centres), and managing budgets, risks, and team input for bids, ensuring compliance, and providing technical leadership for winning projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Capable of working effectively primarily as a team of Sales & Estimation Team. Must have exposure & understanding to various Electrical Tenders from leading Consultants, GC, Customers.
- Good Knowledge of IEC / IS/NBC Codes/Electrical standards.
- Market knowhow on Products and Solutions, Model/Catalogue/Part numbers of SWGR & Electrical Components etc.
- Independently developing and doing estimation for power distribution schemes, HT, LT, DG, ELV systems (like data networks, CCTV, fire alarms, access control)
- Equipment selection/familiarization with Transformer, HT panel, VCD/SF6/ICGO, DG Set, APFCR, Power quality Improvement solution/Capacitor Banks, LT Panel, MCC/PCC, Distribution Board, various types of Isolator/Circuit breakers, VFD, Lighting DB, UPS & Battery Sizing, UPS DB, surge arrestor, lightning arrestors etc.
- Vendors Dwg/data/submittal review and assist Sales/Design /Projects
- Coordinate with Vendors & Customers for Electrical QA, FAT for major Electrical Capex Items during execution.
- Capable of reviewing fault level, short circuit Calculation, Bus bar/Bus duct, BBT, Cable (HT/LT) sizing, Point wiring.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Education: B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Full time)
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in specialized industrial projects like Pharma/ Cleanroom/ Solar/ Semiconductor / Data centres shall be preferred
